Why Fort Worth Homeowners Choose CWS Construction

CWS service in Fort Worth means repair and installation work on CWS cabinets, countertops, and bathroom vanities, performed by a crew that knows exactly how these products behave in Texas heat and shifting soil. Sawyer Remodel Fort Worth is an independent CWS service provider, not an authorized dealer or manufacturer affiliate. We fix CWS cabinet boxes, re-hang doors, replace soft-close glides, reface thermofoil fronts, and install CWS countertop and vanity packages across Fort Worth, from Wedgwood to the far north side. Call (682) 841-6652 to get a written price before any work starts.

CWS, which sits under the Cabinetworks Group umbrella, builds mid-tier framed cabinets in maple and birch, a frameless full-access line that has landed in a lot of newer Fort Worth apartments and remodels, and bathroom vanity collections with soft-close doors and drawers. The product is solid. The installation around it is where we see problems, and that is where we come in. Fort Worth’s expansive clay and slab foundations test every cabinet box and countertop seam. We understand that. We work with it every week.

Why Trust Sawyer Remodel Fort Worth for Your CWS Construction?

A remodeled living room with built-in shelves around the fireplace

Our crews have spent more than a decade inside Fort Worth kitchens and bathrooms where CWS cabinets, countertops, and bath hardware meet the realities of Texas heat, hard water, and slab foundations. We know which CWS lines hold up and which need careful installation. That knowledge comes from pulling boxes apart, not from reading a catalog. Luca Romano, Owner and Lead Remodeler at Sawyer Remodel Fort Worth, learned the trade hands-on at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College and has spent twenty years swinging hammers before bringing his crew to Fort Worth. He still does walkthroughs himself, because remodels go sideways when the owner stops showing up.

We are not authorized by CWS, and we will tell you that plainly. What we offer instead is independent expertise. We use OEM CWS hardware and matching doors and panels whenever CWS still catalogs the line. When a line is discontinued, we switch to cabinet-grade aftermarket glides and hinges that match bore spacing and soft-close feel. We recommend full replacement only when the cabinet box itself is water-swollen or cracked. A door or a glide can be swapped. We will not sell you a new kitchen when a repair does the job. Every CWS job carries our 365-Day Done Right Promise: if it is not done right, we make it right, backed in writing. Our technicians are background-checked and uniformed. You get a live arrival time and photo updates before and after. The written price lands in your hands before a single tool is picked up.

Common CWS Construction Problems We Fix in Fort Worth

These are the failure patterns we see repeatedly on CWS installations across Fort Worth, especially on slab-on-grade homes where soil movement works against cabinet fastening.

  • Face-frame joints separating on CWS corner cabinets when the slab shifts. This is probably the most common CWS issue we walk into in Fort Worth. When the slab settles, an incorrectly shimmed corner box twists. The face-frame joint opens up, often at the upper corner, and then drawers and doors start rubbing. The fix requires squaring the box, re-fastening the face frame with pocket screws, and rebuilding the shim stack so the cabinet bears on the high point of the floor, not just the front legs.
  • Soft-close drawer glides failing early on CWS vanities in high-humidity bathrooms. Fort Worth bathrooms without proper ventilation trap moisture. On CWS vanity drawers, the plastic rollers inside the soft-close glides crack, and the mechanism binds. The drawer still opens but slams shut or catches halfway. We replace failed glides with OEM CWS parts when available, or a cabinet-grade aftermarket glide with matching bore spacing. The soft-close action returns.
  • CWS laminate countertop edges peeling where the backsplash meets the counter on exterior walls. Exterior walls in Fort Worth collect morning condensation, especially on the west side near the Eagle Ford shale formation where homes sit on higher-moisture arcs. Moisture works under the laminate edge and separates it from the substrate. We re-bond the edge when the substrate is sound, and we re-seal the backsplash joint in the same visit.
  • Thermofoil cabinet doors delaminating along the bottom rail in homes without properly vented range hoods. Grease and moisture work under the foil. The bottom rail starts to bubble and peel. This is a running issue in older Fort Worth kitchens where the hood recirculates instead of venting outside. We can reface those doors rather than replace the whole run, and we will tell you honestly if the boxes are still worth keeping.
  • CWS frameless full-access hinge plates loosening on base cabinets over time. The frameless line uses a lot of press-in hinge plates. With slab movement and repeated door cycles, the plate works loose and the door sags. We re-bore and re-set plates with reinforced dowels when the particleboard has stripped out, which restores the full-access alignment CWS is known for.

CWS Parts & Our Repair-vs-Replace Approach

A whole-home remodel with the living, dining and kitchen areas opened up

We stock common CWS-compatible hinges, glides, drawer slides, and matching door bumpers in our Fort Worth service truck so most hardware repairs do not require a second visit. For full door or drawer front replacements, we order OEM through the CWS parts channel when the line is still active. For discontinued Fort Worth-era CWS installs, we use cabinet-grade aftermarket components matched to bore spacing and overlay, and we finish-match the color as closely as the material allows. We will never claim an aftermarket door is an exact CWS match when it is not. We will tell you the difference and let you decide.

Repair versus replace comes down to the box itself. If the cabinet box is square, dry, and fastened properly, a door, hinge, glide, or edge repair gets the job done for a fraction of a full replacement. If the box has water-swollen particleboard, cracked corners, or mold in the toe kick, replacement is the honest recommendation. We will show you the damage and walk you through the numbers before you commit. Call (682) 841-6652 for a written line-item quote.

Our CWS Service Process – Step by Step

  1. 1
Diagnosis. We inspect every CWS cabinet box, hinge, glide, and seam in the room. We check the floor for level and the slab for signs of movement before we blame the cabinet. In Fort Worth, a sagging corner cabinet is often a soil problem wearing a cabinet disguise. We find the actual cause.
  2. 2
Written price. We put the repair or install scope and the line-item cost in writing before work starts. That number is the number you approve. No change orders unless you add scope.
  3. 3
Repair or installation. We square and shim boxes, re-fasten face frames, set glides, re-bond laminate edges, or install new CWS cabinets and countertops. We use OEM CWS parts where the line is active and cabinet-grade aftermarket where it is not. We photo-document before and after.
  4. 4
Testing. We cycle every drawer and door. We check soft-close action, hinge alignment, and full-access swing. We run a level across the countertop and across the toekick line. If a drawer binds or a door catches, we fix it before we leave.
  5. 5
Warranty. Every CWS repair and install is covered under our 365-Day Done Right Promise in writing. If the same door sags or the same glide fails within a year, we come back and make it right. No argument, no second invoice.

CWS Products We Service & Install in Fort Worth

We work on CWS framed cabinets in maple and birch, the CWS frameless full-access line, CWS bathroom vanity collections with soft-close doors and drawers, and the CWS solid surface and quartz countertop program that often accompanies their cabinets. We install new CWS cabinet packages, reface existing CWS doors, and repair what has failed as part of our General Contractor services. We also build around CWS products: a CWS vanity install paired with a tub-to-shower conversion, for example, or a CWS cabinet run tied into a quartz countertop replacement. Our Fort Worth service truck carries common CWS-compatible hardware so standard repairs do not turn into multi-trip ordeals.

We Also Service These Brands

CWS is not the only cabinet and countertop line we work with. Sawyer Remodel Fort Worth installs and services KraftMaid cabinetry, Cambria and Silestone countertops, and Kohler bath fixtures. If your home mixes brands or you are weighing CWS against another line, we can quote both and explain the differences honestly. One crew, one written price, multiple manufacturers.
