Master Halco Construction in Fort Worth, TX | Sawyer Remodel Fort Worth

We’re Sawyer Remodel Fort Worth, a Fort Worth General Contractor and independent Master Halco service provider. We install, repair, and reset Master Halco fence systems across Fort Worth, from PostMaster+ steel posts to Classic Manor vinyl and Westbury aluminum. What separates our Master Halco work here is simple: we’ve been setting these posts in Eagle Ford shale long enough to know what holds and what heaves. Call (682) 841-6652 for a free estimate.

Master Halco builds solid fence systems, but Fort Worth’s soil doesn’t always cooperate. That’s where field experience matters more than a brand badge. We work the Master Halco sales & service side from a contractor’s perspective, which means we know the product lines, the failure points, and how to make them last on this ground. Luca Romano, our owner and lead remodeler, learned the trade at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College and worked two decades on everything from tract homes to custom builds. He still walks every job himself.

Why Fort Worth Residents Choose Us for Master Halco Service

A remodeled laundry and mudroom with a bench, cubbies and painted cabinets

Most fence crews in Fort Worth will hang a Master Halco panel and call it done. We dig deeper, literally. Our crews have worked Master Halco fence systems in Fort Worth since the vinyl and aluminum lines became standard for new subdivisions, which means we know the post anchoring, gate hardware, and span behavior on the city’s swelling clays better than a crew that just grabbed a box off a shelf. When a PostMaster+ post tilts in Alliance or a Westbury gate binds in far north Fort Worth, we recognize the cause before we even put a level on it. That’s the difference between a repair that lasts and one you’ll call about again in eighteen months.

We’re also not a faceless subcontractor farm. Background-checked, uniformed technicians show up when we say they will, with a written price in your hand before any tool comes off the truck. Luca built this company on one rule: do the job the way you’d want it done in your own house. He’s seen too many remodels go sideways when the owner stops showing up, so he doesn’t.

Common Master Halco Construction Problems We Solve in Fort Worth

  • Leaning PostMaster+ posts in clay soil. The steel post system is engineered well, but Fort Worth’s expansive clay doesn’t care about engineering specs. When posts are set without stabilized sand or concrete with drainage, they tilt within two seasons. We see it constantly in Alliance and far north Fort Worth subdivisions where builders rushed the backfill.
  • Classic Manor vinyl bottom rail sag and staining. Flat lots plus sudden downpours equals silty runoff that collects in bottom rails. The rail sags or stains, and homeowners think the panel seam failed. We restructure the grade so water sheets away, then replace only what’s actually damaged.
  • Westbury aluminum gate binding from shale dust. In new construction zones on Eagle Ford shale, airborne dust from excavation works into gate hinges and self-closing mechanisms. Gates stick, fail to latch, or require shoulder-shoving to move. We clean, lubricate with the right product, and adjust tension so the gate swings like it should.
  • CedarWorks pickets warping in summer heat. A CedarWorks fence with unshaded west or south exposure in Fort Worth’s hot, dry summers will warp and split faster than the same fence in a shadier spot. We see it most in older neighborhoods where mature trees came down and the fence suddenly caught full afternoon sun.
  • Posts heaved more than an inch and a half. When shrink-swell cycles push a post past that threshold, repeated adjustments cost more than replacement. We’ll tell you straight: if it’s heaved, we reset it properly. If it’s cracked the panel, we replace the panel. No dancing around it.

Master Halco Service in Fort Worth: What Local Conditions Mean for Your Equipment

A whole-home remodel with the living, dining and kitchen areas opened up

Here’s the thing most pages won’t tell you. Fort Worth’s west side sits on the Eagle Ford shale formation, which has one of the highest shrink-swell potentials in the entire metroplex. When it’s dry, the soil contracts and pulls away from post footings. When it rains, it swells and pushes everything out of alignment. In neighborhoods like Ridglea and White Settlement, Master Halco fences need post holes over-bored to at least 12 inches and backfilled with imported select fill. Dallas crews rarely hit this exact soil chemistry, and that’s why a fence that stands straight in Dallas can lean in Fort Worth within two seasons. This is not a generic soil note. It’s the single biggest factor in how long your Master Halco fence will actually last here. If the hole isn’t over-bored and the fill isn’t stabilized, the post is already moving before the gate is even hung.

Last August we reset a 140-foot run of Classic Manor vinyl privacy fence in the Ridglea Hills addition off Camp Bowie Boulevard. The PostMaster+ posts had tilted up to 2 inches toward the alley after a summer drought, and two bottom rails were cracking from trapped drainage. We pulled the posts, over-bored to 12 inches, filled with washed gravel and select clay, then replaced the cracked rails and restructured the grade so runoff would sheet away. That line stands plumb now and it drains correctly. The work talks. We just back it up.

Master Halco Models & Products We Service in Fort Worth

We work the full Master Halco fence lineup. That includes the PostMaster+ steel post system, Classic Manor vinyl privacy fence, Westbury aluminum fence, and CedarWorks wood fence. For structural components like PostMaster+ collars, gate hinges, and rail brackets, we use Master Halco genuine parts. Tolerances on those matter, and aftermarket versions don’t always line up. But we’ll substitute quality aftermarket fasteners and post caps when the brand’s spec isn’t available or a better option exists at the same price. We keep common PostMaster+ collars, Westbury hinge sets, and vinyl rail brackets on hand for faster turnaround across Fort Worth service area jobs.
