Caesarstone Home Additions & ADU: The Fort Worth Owner’s Guide

Caesarstone home additions and ADUs in Fort Worth typically run $45,000 to $130,000 installed, depending on square footage, foundation work, and how much Caesarstone surfacing you’re integrating into the build. We stock Caesarstone slabs and coordinate the full addition or ADU from framing through countertop fabrication, which means you’re not juggling three contractors when the countertop template doesn’t match the wall that got framed a half-inch off. Most owners reach out after they’ve already bought a Caesarstone slab or planned a Caesarstone island into an ADU kitchen, then realize their current contractor doesn’t have a fabricator who’ll touch it without markup games.

Here’s the reality: an addition or ADU is the largest single check most homeowners write, and the Caesarstone component is usually the part people care about most because it’s the surface they’ll touch every day. When the countertop goes in wrong or the slab gets damaged mid-project, the whole schedule unravels. That’s the moment this page is written for.

Which Caesarstone Models This Applies To

Caesarstone runs two main lines that matter for Fort Worth additions and ADUs: the Classic/ Supernatural series (quartz slabs in the 2cm and 3cm thicknesses) and the Outdoor series, which is UV-stable and rated for covered exterior kitchens. If you’re building an ADU with an outdoor cooking area, a standard indoor Caesarstone slab will yellow and chalk within two Texas summers. That’s the compatibility gotcha most people learn the expensive way.

Identifying your slab takes thirty seconds: flip the slab or check the fabricator’s remnant paperwork for the Caesarstone SKU, which starts with a four-digit number followed by a color code. The 3cm slabs are the default for kitchen islands and perimeter counters without plywood subtops; the 2cm slabs need subtop support and usually show up in bathrooms or vertical applications. For aftermarket versus OEM, Caesarstone doesn’t sell “parts” for the slab itself the way an appliance brand does, but the consumables and accessories around the install (sink cutouts, edge profiles, seam kits, color-matched adhesive) have OEM and aftermarket tiers. We default to Caesarstone’s matched adhesive and the fabricator’s CNC-cut sink openings, because an aftermarket seam adhesive that cures a shade off will show in Fort Worth’s hard water before the first year is out. Luca Romano and the crew have templated Caesarstone in additions across the Cultural District and down through the TCU area, and the install mistakes we fix most often are seam placement and unsupported overhangs. We also work with Cambria, Silestone, and KraftMaid cabinetry when the project calls for a broader material mix.

Signs Your Caesarstone Home Additions & ADU Is Failing

  • Hairline cracks near the sink or cooktop cutouts. Caesarstone is quartz resin composite, and the stress points around cutouts will crack if the fabricator didn’t radius the inside corners or left the slab spanning an unsupported cabinet run. In Fort Worth’s clay soil, slab-on-grade ADUs shift seasonally, and a rigid Caesarstone top over a shifting cabinet carcass cracks before the cabinet shows any sign.
  • Chalky, faded patches where afternoon sun hits through a window. Indoor Caesarstone is not UV-rated. Direct western exposure in a Fort Worth addition will fade the resin binder within three to five years. This is a material spec mismatch, not a cleaning problem.
  • Seam separation or a visible glue line at the joint. The matched adhesive failed or was mixed wrong. You feel a ridge with your fingernail, and the seam traps water and gunk. On an island, this is where the bacteria lives.
  • Overhang deflection or bounce when you lean on the edge. Unsupported Caesarstone overhangs beyond 12 inches need steel brackets or corbels. If the slab flexes, the resin is micro-fracturing. It doesn’t fail tomorrow, but it will fail.
  • Dull, etched rings around the faucet deck or wet bar. Caesarstone is stain-resistant, not stain-proof. Hard water and acidic spills in Fort Worth’s supply (we’ve got some of the hardest municipal water in the state) etch the surface if sealer wasn’t applied on the fabricator’s recommendation. This is often reversible with a quartz polish, not a full slab replacement.

Replacement Cost & What’s Included

A small remodeled galley kitchen with cabinets to the ceiling

For a Fort Worth home addition or ADU where Caesarstone is the specified surface, the full project lands between $45,000 and $130,000. The Caesarstone portion itself, meaning slabs plus fabrication plus install, typically runs $2,000 to $6,500 for countertop scope within that larger job. The spread comes down to square footage, slab thickness, edge profile, and whether you’re doing a simple perimeter run or a waterfall island with mitered seams.

What’s included in our number: the written line-item price before any work starts, Caesarstone slab material, CNC fabrication, sink and faucet cutouts, install, seam work, and the 365-Day Done Right Promise in writing when the project closes. If the seam separates or the slab shifts within that year, we come back and make it right. No change orders, no surprise upcharge when the template doesn’t match the drawings. The price you approve is the price on the invoice.

DIY or Call Us?

You can safely do one thing yourself: check your overhang support and look for hairline cracks around cutouts, then document what you find with photos before anyone touches the slab. That’s it. Caesarstone is a resin-bonded quartz product, and cutting, polishing, or seaming it without the right diamond tooling and a templating system ruins the slab. A 3cm Caesarstone slab weighs roughly 18 pounds per square foot, and the two-man carry on an ADU island is a back injury waiting for someone who’s never done the lift. This is not the place to save a few hundred dollars. If the slab is damaged, call us at (682) 841-6652. We’ll template, fabricate, and install the replacement without you having to coordinate the slab yard, the fabricator, and the install crew separately.
