Jerith Kitchen Remodeling: The Fort Worth Owner’s Guide
We stock and install Jerith-compatible kitchen remodeling components throughout Fort Worth, with full kitchen remodels running $14,000 to $45,000 depending on cabinet line, countertop material, and whether we’re moving plumbing or electrical. Most owners call us when a Jerith cabinet box has delaminated at the sink base, a drawer slide has snapped, or a door hinge has stripped out of the particleboard. You’ll usually know something’s wrong the day a drawer starts grinding, a door sags and won’t close, or the finish starts peeling near the dishwasher vent.
We’re an independent Fort Worth remodeler, not a Jerith dealer or affiliate. That means we match parts by measurement and spec, not by part number alone, and we’ll tell you when a quality aftermarket replacement outperforms the original at a better price.
Which Jerith Models This Applies To

Jerith cabinetry lines share a lot of hardware DNA across their builder-grade and mid-tier series, but there’s a compatibility gotcha Fort Worth owners hit all the time: the hinge boring pattern. Jerith cabinets built before roughly 2012 commonly use a 35mm cup boring with a 9.5mm door offset, while newer lines shifted to a 40mm cup spacing on some full-overlay doors. You can’t eyeball it. Pull one hinge off and measure the cup diameter and the screw center spacing before ordering anything.
For OEM Jerith parts, you’re often waiting on a dealer order and paying a premium for what is, in many cases, a commodity hinge or slide with a Jerith stamp on it. We stock quality aftermarket equivalents from Blum and Salice that match or exceed the OEM spec. The decision usually comes down to this: if the cabinets are under warranty, go OEM and keep your paperwork clean. If they’re out of warranty and the rest of the kitchen is mid-life, a good aftermarket part gets you back in service faster and usually lasts longer than what failed.
Luca Romano has pulled enough Jerith cabinets out of Fort Worth homes to know the failure patterns. What fails first is almost always the drawer slide on the pot-and-pan base next to the range, because that drawer carries more weight than any other in the kitchen and Jerith’s builder lines spec a 75-pound slide where a 100-pound soft-close would have held up.

Signs Your Jerith Kitchen Remodeling Is Failing
Here’s what Fort Worth homeowners actually see before they call us, and what’s going on behind each symptom:
- Drawer grinds or catches mid-pull. The ball bearings in the slide have worn flat, usually from years of overload, and metal-on-metal friction is now carving grooves into the slide rails. This only gets louder.
- Cabinet door sags and won’t latch. The hinge plate has stripped out of the particleboard or the hinge arm itself is bent. On older Jerith doors, the particleboard around the hinge cup is often crumbling now.
- Finish peeling or bubbling near the dishwasher or sink base. Humidity and heat from the dishwasher vent breaks down the clearcoat first, then water gets into the substrate. Once the particleboard swells, the door is done.
- Sink base floor is soft or stained. A slow supply-line leak or years of under-sink moisture have compromised the cabinet box floor. That’s structural, not cosmetic, and the sink is now sitting on a failing platform.
- Corner cabinet door binds against the adjacent door. The face frame has shifted or the hinge adjustment screws are maxed out. Forcing it closed just bends the hinge further.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

A full Jerith-compatible kitchen remodel in Fort Worth runs $14,000 to $45,000, and a small kitchen or partial cabinet refresh lands between $9,000 and $20,000. Where you fall depends on cabinet construction (stock versus semi-custom), whether you’re keeping the existing layout or moving plumbing, and your countertop pick.
For reference, here’s how the component costs break down in the Fort Worth market:
- Cabinet installation: $4,000 – $13,000
- Countertop installation: $2,000 – $6,500
- Backsplash installation: $800 – $2,500
- Kitchen island installation: $3,000 – $10,000
- Full kitchen remodel: $14,000 – $45,000
Our price is written before any work starts, and the number on the invoice is the number you approved. Every job carries the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if something isn’t done right, we make it right, in writing, for a full year after we close out the project. We also carry parts for KraftMaid, Cambria, and Silestone kitchens, so if your remodel mixes brands, we handle it in one visit.
DIY or Call Us?
Replacing a drawer slide or a hinge on a Jerith cabinet is a job a careful homeowner can tackle in an afternoon, assuming the cabinet box is still solid. The danger zone starts the moment the cabinet box itself is damaged. If the sink base floor is soft, the face frame has separated, or the hinge screws just spin in rotten particleboard, you’re into structural repair, not a parts swap. Cabinets carry weight. A failing cabinet box under a granite countertop is not something to patch with wood filler and hope.
Most Fort Worth homes we work in have tile or stone counters sitting on top of those cabinets, and pulling a cabinet apart under load without the right support can crack the stone. That’s a $2,000 mistake to save a $400 repair. If you’re not sure, call (682) 841-6652 and we’ll walk you through what we’d check on our own truck.
FAQs

In Fort Worth’s climate, Jerith builder-grade cabinets typically last 12 to 18 years before door sag, drawer slide wear, and sink-base moisture damage catch up with them. The humidity swings and hard water in this area aren’t kind to particleboard, and kitchens that run the dishwasher daily age cabinets faster than ones that don’t. Call (682) 841-6652 for an honest assessment of whether yours are worth saving.
Individual doors, drawers, and slides can usually be repaired or replaced for a fraction of a full remodel, as long as the cabinet box is still structurally sound. If the boxes are swelling, separating, or water-damaged, patching buys you a year or two at most. Call (682) 841-6652 and we’ll tell you straight which one you’re looking at.
A typical Fort Worth kitchen remodel with cabinets, counters, and backsplash takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on material lead times and whether plumbing or electrical moves. A focused cabinet repair or partial replacement is usually 1 to 3 days. We’ll put the schedule in writing before work starts so you’re not guessing.
Our trucks carry the common Jerith-compatible hardware: soft-close hinges, 75 and 100-pound drawer slides, door bumpers, and shelf pins. Unusual sizes or OEM-only parts get ordered and usually arrive within a week. If you can measure the part or send us a photo, we’ll tell you before we roll a truck whether we have it on board.
