Construction Before & After in Fort Worth, TX

We can talk about our process all day, but Fort Worth homeowners want to see the work. The photos below show real jobs we’ve done in the area, from dated 1960s bathrooms in Wedgwood to kitchens in Arlington Heights that needed a full gut. Every project started with a written price and ended with a year of accountability under our 365-Day Done Right Promise. The before photos aren’t pretty. That’s the point.

Bathroom Remodel: 1970s Hall Bath in Wedgwood

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter

This bathroom still had the original harvest-gold tile and a vanity that had seen better decades. We gutted it to the studs, rerouted the plumbing to fit a 60-inch double vanity, and laid 12×24 porcelain tile with Schluter edge trim (the metal strip that waterproofs where your tile meets the floor). Result: a bright, modern bath that actually works for two people getting ready at once. The homeowners came in expecting to spend $18,000 to $24,000. The final written price matched the estimate to the dollar.

Kitchen Remodel: Closed-Off Galley in Arlington Heights

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter

The original kitchen was a narrow galley with a wall cutting off the dining room and exactly three feet of usable counter space. We removed the load-bearing wall (engineered beam, permits pulled, inspections passed), opened the space into the dining room, and installed KraftMaid cabinetry with a Cambria quartz island. The countertop went from three feet to eleven. Budget range in Tarrant County for this scale of work starts around $35,000 and often lands between $45,000 and $70,000 depending on finishes. This one sat comfortably in the middle.

Primary Bath Addition: Moved Water Lines and a Walk-In Shower in Ryan Place

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter

This house had three bedrooms sharing one tiny bathroom. The homeowner wanted a primary suite bath added off the back bedroom. We framed the addition, ran new supply lines and a larger drain, and built a curbless walk-in shower with a linear drain and a Toto toilet. The before photo shows a spare bedroom corner. The after shows a fully tiled shower with a bench and a rainfall head. Additions like this typically run $40,000 to $80,000 in Fort Worth, and the written price we gave before demo started was exactly what they paid.

Whole-Home Renovation: 1950s Ranch Update in Ridglea Hills

The floors sloped, the windows were original single-pane, and the kitchen hadn’t been touched since Eisenhower. We leveled the foundation where possible, replaced all windows with double-pane units, gutted both bathrooms, and rebuilt the kitchen with Wellborn cabinetry and Caesarstone counters. New James Hardie siding on the exterior tied it together. Whole-home renovations in Fort Worth this size typically land between $100,000 and $200,000. The homeowner received our written price before any work started, along with live arrival time tracking and before-and-after photo updates at every stage through The Relay Standard.

Home Renovation: Fixing a Previous Contractor’s Mess in North Richland Hills

This one hurt to look at. Another contractor had started a bathroom remodel and walked away, leaving exposed plumbing and a shower that leaked into the living room ceiling. We pulled it all out, corrected the slope on the shower pan, reinstalled the waterproofing properly, and finished the job they couldn’t. The homeowner paid for it twice, which is a hard truth. Our written price and 365-Day Done Right Promise meant the second time was the last time. Correction work like this is harder to price blind; we gave them a fixed number after a free estimate, and the invoice matched.

Bathroom Remodel: Tub-to-Shower Conversion in Benbrook

The homeowners wanted to age in place and hadn’t used the tub in years. We removed it, replaced it with a low-threshold shower with a grab bar and bench, and used a Kohler fixture set. The before photo shows a dated tub surround. The after shows a clean, accessible shower that will still look right in twenty years. Tub-to-shower conversions in the Fort Worth area usually run $9,000 to $18,000 depending on tile choices and whether the drain needs to move.
