Why Fort Worth Homeowners Choose Toto Construction

We install, repair, and integrate Toto fixtures inside real Fort Worth homes every week, and we’re an independent General Contractor, not a Toto-authorized dealership. That means we pair genuine Toto parts with construction work that accounts for what Fort Worth actually throws at a toilet: hard water, slab foundations, and storm-season power surges. If you need a Toto Drake II rebuilt, a Washlet wired and mounted, or a full bathroom remodel built around Toto fixtures, call (682) 841-6652 for a free estimate.

Toto makes some of the best-engineered plumbing fixtures on the market. We’d argue the Drake II’s tornado flush is the most reliable flushing system you can put in a Fort Worth bathroom, and the Ultramax II’s Sanagloss glaze genuinely resists the kind of mineral buildup that ruins cheaper porcelain. But “best-engineered” doesn’t mean “never fails,” and when a Toto fixture acts up, you need someone who knows the product line, not someone learning on your dime. That’s where we come in. Luca Romano and our crews have been setting Toto toilets, Washlets, and shower valves in Fort Worth homes for years, from pier-and-beam bungalows in Fairmount to slab-on-grade new builds up in Alliance, and we also handle Keller Toto service.

Why Trust Sawyer Remodel Fort Worth for Your Toto Construction?

A remodeled primary bathroom with a soaking tub and walk-in shower

We’re a remodeling company first, which changes how we approach Toto work. A plumber swaps a toilet and leaves. We see the whole room: the flange height relative to your finished floor, the water supply location, the valve rough-in, the tile layout, the caulk joint. When we set a Toto Drake II in a Wedgwood ranch, we’re checking whether the original flange sits flush or proud of the slab, because Fort Worth remodels often add tile that changes the rough-in height. When we install a Washlet S550e, we’re confirming the GFCI outlet placement meets code before the bidet seat ever touches the bowl.

Luca learned the trade hands-on at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College and has spent two decades swinging hammers on everything from tract homes to custom builds. He’s been working Fort Worth long enough to know that Eagle Ford shale on the west side moves slabs, and that a flange that was perfect five years ago might not be perfect after two drought summers. We also provide Toto Construction in Watauga, TX. He still does walkthroughs himself, because he’s seen too many remodels go sideways when the owner stops showing up. Our Toto work carries the same standing commitments as every Sawyer project: a written price before work starts, live arrival time tracking, before-and-after photo updates, and the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If it’s not done right, we make it right. That’s in writing, every job.

Common Toto Construction Problems We Fix in Fort Worth

These are the issues we walk into most often. If you’re dealing with one of them, you’re not alone, and most are fixable without replacing the whole fixture.

  • Weak or incomplete flush on Drake II and Ultramax II tornado-flush models. The double-cyclone rim jets are small by design, and Fort Worth’s water supply from the Trinity River basin averages 8 to 12 grains per gallon of hardness. That’s significantly more scale-forming than neighboring cities like Arlington. Scale builds inside the rim jets, disrupts the cyclone pattern, and you get a lazy flush that leaves waste behind. We pull the bowl, clean the jets mechanically, and often replace the flush tower while we’re in there.
  • Washlet remote or control-panel failure after Tarrant County lightning storms. The Washlet S550e and S300e have control boards that don’t like power surges. After a bad storm season, we get calls from homeowners whose Washlet remote lights up but won’t talk to the seat, or whose seat powers on but won’t heat. We diagnose the board versus the remote, replace the failed component with OEM Toto parts, and recommend a whole-home or point-of-use surge protector if the home doesn’t have one.
  • Flange or wax-ring failure on slab-on-grade installations. This is a construction problem more than a Toto problem. When a Fort Worth homeowner remodels a bathroom and adds tile, the finished floor height rises, but the original flange doesn’t. The wax ring compresses unevenly, the seal fails, and you get sewer gas or water at the base. We correct the flange height to match the new floor, then set the Toto bowl on a fresh ring. We do this right because we’re the ones who often did the tile work in the first place.
  • Snapped or stripped tank-to-bowl gasket bolts on older two-piece Toto units. During countertop or floor refinishing, cabinets shift, floors get sanded, and toilets get bumped. The bolts that hold a Toto tank to the bowl are brass for a reason, but they still snap or strip after years of mineral exposure and vibration. We extract the old hardware, replace the gasket with a genuine Toto part, and torque the new bolts to spec. No hacksaw jobs, no drilled-out messes left behind.
  • Ghost-flushing or cycle-flushing every 20 to 30 minutes. A client off Camp Bowie Boulevard called us because their Toto Drake II began flush-cycling every 20 minutes. Our tech pulled the tank and found Fort Worth hard-water scale had locked the genuine Toto flapper tower partially open. We replaced the flush tower with an OEM Toto part, reset the canister seal, and tested the tornado rim jets with a dye pack to confirm no siphon leak. The toilet went back to a silent, single-flush cycle without disturbing the surrounding marble tile we had set years earlier.

Toto Parts & Our Repair-vs-Replace Approach

A powder room with botanical wallpaper and a stone sink

We use genuine Toto parts whenever a fixture is still in production or under warranty eligibility. That means OEM flush valves, fill valves, Sanagloss touch-up, Washlet filters, and tank-to-bowl gaskets. The reason is simple: aftermarket copies change the flush profile. A cheaper flapper tower might fit, but it changes the water volume, the timing, and the seal, and it can void a later warranty repair. Toto engineered the Drake II’s double-cyclone flush around specific component tolerances. We’re not going to undercut that with a knockoff to save you eight dollars.

But we also don’t rebuild a corpse. For discontinued or badly scaled Toto models, we show you the plain math. A 15-year-old toilet with North Texas mineral damage through the trapway and rim jets might cost $400 to $600 in parts and labor to rebuild, and it’ll still be a 15-year-old toilet. A new Drake II or Washlet-ready Tornado unit often costs less than that rebuild and gives you a decade of clean flushes. We present both options with written line-item pricing and let you decide. Call (682) 841-6652 and we’ll give you real numbers for your specific fixture.

Our Toto Service Process – Step by Step

  1. 1
Diagnosis. We don’t guess. Our tech tests the flush cycle, checks water level against the Toto waterline mark, inspects rim jets and the flapper tower, and confirms whether the issue is the fixture, the flange, the supply line, or the electrical. You get a written diagnosis and a written price before we touch a wrench.
  2. 2
Repair or install. We use OEM Toto parts where it matters, set the fixture level on a corrected flange if needed, torque tank bolts to spec, and wire Washlets to code with GFCI protection. If we’re doing a full install inside a remodel, the Toto fixture goes in after tile and paint, so nothing gets scratched or dusted.
  3. 3
Test. We run three full flush cycles with a dye pack to confirm no siphon leak, check the Washlet water filter and seat heater, and verify the tornado flush pattern is hitting all sides of the bowl. If it’s a shower valve, we test pressure balance and temperature limit stops.
  4. 4
Warranty and walkthrough. Every Toto repair and install includes our 365-Day Done Right Promise in writing. Luca or a lead tech walks you through what was done, what to watch for, and when to call. You get before-and-after photos as part of The Relay Visibility Guarantee.

Toto Products We Service & Install in Fort Worth

We work on the full Toto residential line, with the most calls coming in for the Drake II two-piece (tornado flush, double-cyclone rim jets), the Ultramax II one-piece (Sanagloss glaze), the Washlet S550e and S300e integrated bidet seats, and the Neorest integrated smart toilet. We stock the most common OEM parts locally: Drake II flush towers, tank-to-bowl gasket sets, Washlet water filters, and fill valves. For less common Neorest components, we order directly and typically have them within a few days. If you’re building a new bathroom or converting a tub to a shower, we spec Toto shower valves, trims, and pans into the plan from day one so the rough-in is right.

We Also Service These Brands

Toto is a big part of our bathroom work, but we install and service across the full remodeling spectrum. We work with KraftMaid cabinetry, Cambria and Silestone countertops, and Kohler fixtures every week. If your project involves more than a toilet, we’re set up to handle it without juggling four different contractors.
