Meet the Fort Worth Team Behind Sawyer Remodel Fort Worth
Fort Worth homes are different. Pier and beam foundations in Fairmount, slab-on-grade in Walsh, 1950s plumbing in Ridglea Hills, and brand-new builds up in Saginaw. The crew at Sawyer Remodel Fort Worth has worked on all of it. We’re not a rotating cast of subcontractors you’ll never see twice. We’re a small, local team that shows up in uniform, introduces ourselves at the door, and answers to one person: Luca Romano. Since 2005, we’ve built our reputation in Fort Worth one bathroom, one kitchen, one whole-home renovation at a time. The people below are the ones who’ll be standing in your driveway on day one.

Our People

Luca Romano, Owner & Lead Remodeler
Luca founded Sawyer Remodel Fort Worth in 2005, and he’s still the first one on site most mornings. He’s spent nearly two decades running remodels across Fort Worth, from historic bungalows in Mistletoe Heights to new construction in Alliance. Luca personally walks every estimate, reviews every written price before you see it, and does the final walkthrough on every project before we call it done. He’s the reason The Relay Standard exists at all: he got tired of seeing homeowners stuck with vague promises and no accountability, so he built a process with a written price before work starts, live arrival tracking, and photo updates you can actually see. If something goes sideways on a job, Luca is the one who makes the call to fix it, not some regional manager you’ve never met.
Marco T., Senior Installer
Marco has been setting tile and building showers with Sawyer Remodel Fort Worth for eleven years, and before that he spent six years on commercial job sites across DFW. He’s our Schluter systems specialist. That means he handles the waterproofing membrane, the shower pan, and the Schluter edge trim (the metal strip that waterproofs where your tile meets the floor) on every bathroom we build. Marco is the guy who finds the stud that’s 3/8 inch out of square and fixes the framing before it becomes a tile problem you’d see every morning for ten years. He keeps a small notebook in his back pocket with measurements from every job since 2014. Ask him about the 2019 Wedgwood bathroom where the original 1962 plumbing ran diagonally through the wall. He’ll tell you the whole story.
Dana R., Service Coordinator
Dana is the voice on the phone when you call (682) 841-6652. She’s been with our Fort Worth team for seven years, and she’s the reason you’ll never leave a voicemail and hope for a callback. Dana handles scheduling, permits, material orders, and the digital invoice you’ll pay from a link. Before joining us, she worked in commercial construction administration in Fort Worth, so she knows how to read a building code and how to keep a permit inspection on track. Dana grew up in Fort Worth, still lives in Benbrook, and can tell you which breakfast taco spot near the job site is worth the detour. She’ll also tell you honestly if a start date needs to shift because tile is backordered. You’ll hear from her more than anyone else during your project.
Kevin J., Apprentice Remodeler
Kevin is the youngest member of the crew and the one who does the work nobody else wants to do well. He’s been with Sawyer Remodel Fort Worth for two years, and he’s on track to run his own jobs within the next three. Kevin handles demo day, material staging, jobsite cleanup, and learning the trade from Marco and Luca directly. He’s already passed background checks and shows up in the same uniform as everyone else. His specialty is dust containment: he sets up the zip walls and floor protection before the first hammer swings, and he’s the reason your living room doesn’t look like a construction site after we leave each evening. Kevin is also the one who takes most of the before-and-after photos you’ll receive through The Relay Standard updates. He’s got a good eye for what the camera should catch.
One Standard, Every Job
We run every project in Fort Worth through The Relay Standard, and we don’t make exceptions. You get a written price before any work starts. Not an estimate on a napkin, not a range that expands later. A written price. You get live arrival tracking so you know exactly when Marco or Kevin is pulling up to your house. You get before-and-after photo updates on the digital invoice link Dana sends, so you can watch progress without standing in the doorway asking questions. And you get the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if something isn’t done right within a full year after we close the project, we make it right, in writing, no argument. Every team member above knows the standard. They don’t have to check with a supervisor to honor it. That’s the whole point.
